The Old Dominion Post Office in Stonewall is Manitoba’s foremost example of "Prairie Style" Architecture and only known surviving example of Prairie Style Institutional Architecture in Manitoba.
Designed by Francis Conroy Sullivan, one of Canada’s pioneer practitioners of this style, construction of the building began in 1914 and completed in 1915.
Sullivan was both student and collaborator of Frank Lloyd Wright, renowned Chicago architect and leader of the Prairie Style movement in Architecture.
